Śloka 39.1

विनेन्दुं रवितो वित्त-रिष्फोभयगतैर्ग्रहैः । वेशि-वोशी क्रमाद्योगौ तथोभयचरो मतः ॥ १ ॥

By grahas — the Moon excepted — placed from the Sun in the wealth-bhāva (2nd), in the riṣpha (12th), and in both respectively, the two yogas Veśi and Vośi, and likewise the Ubhayacara, are held to arise.

वेशियोगोद्भवो जातः सत्यवादी सदालसः । समदर्शी सुखी स्वल्पधनो दीर्घवपुः पुमान् ॥ २ ॥

One born with the Veśi yoga is a speaker of truth, always indolent, even-eyed (impartial in outlook), happy, of scant wealth, and a man of tall body.

Śloka 39.3

दक्षो दानी बली विद्वान् यशस्वी वोशिसम्भवः । सदोभयचरे सौख्ययुङ् नृपस्तादृशोऽथवा ॥ ३ ॥

One produced by the Vośi yoga is skilful, liberal in giving, strong, learned and famous. In the Ubhayacara (yoga) he is always joined with happiness — a king, or else one like a king.

Śloka 39.4

योगे सत्खेटजे त्वेवं फलं ज्ञेयं विपश्चिता । असत्खगसमुद्भूते विपरीतं विनिर्दिशेत् ॥ ४ ॥

But when the yoga is produced by good (benefic) grahas, the learned man should know the fruit to be as stated. When it arises from bad (malefic) grahas, he should declare the opposite.
