Śloka 1 — Invocation / statement of subject: Kālacakra daśā results
अथ ब्रवीमि ते विप्र ! कालचक्रदशाफलम् । राशीशानामिनादीनां फलं तत्रापि संशृणु ॥ १ ॥
Now, O Vipra (Maitreya), I shall declare to you the results of the Kālacakra daśā; therein hear also the results of the lords of the rāśis, beginning with the Sun.

Śloka 2 — Results of the Sun's and Moon's rāśi-daśā
रक्तपित्तादिजं व्याधिं स्वदशायां दिशेद् रविः । धनकीर्तिप्रजावृद्धिवस्त्राभरणदः शशी ॥ २ ॥
In the daśā of its own rāśi the Sun gives diseases arising from blood and bile and the like; the Moon gives wealth, fame, increase of progeny, and clothes and ornaments.

Śloka 3 — Results of Mars's and Mercury's rāśi-daśā
ज्वरमाशु दिशेत् पैत्तं ग्रन्थिस्फोटं तु भूमिजः । प्रजाद्रविणयोर्वृद्धिं बुधो दद्याद् विशेषतः ॥ ३ ॥
Mars quickly gives bilious fever, and swellings and boils; Mercury especially bestows increase of progeny and of wealth.

Śloka 4 — Results of Jupiter's and Venus's rāśi-daśā
धनं कीर्तिं प्रजावृद्धिं नानाभोगं बृहस्पतिः । विद्यावाप्तिर्विवाहश्च गृहे धान्यं भृगोः फलम् ॥ ४ ॥
Jupiter gives wealth, fame, increase of progeny and manifold enjoyments; the result of Venus is attainment of learning, marriage, and grain in the house.

Śloka 5 — Result of Saturn's rāśi-daśā; closing rule of the section
तापाधिक्यं महद् दुःखं बन्धुनाशः शनेः फलम् । एवमर्कादियोगेन राशीनां स्याद् दशाफलम् ॥ ५ ॥
Excess of burning distress, great sorrow, and destruction of relatives are Saturn's result. Thus, by the association of the Sun and the rest, is the daśā-result of the rāśis to be known.

Śloka 6 — Meṣa-group navāṃśa daśā: Meṣa, Vṛṣabha, Mithuna, Karka
मेषे तु रक्तपीडा च वृषभे धान्यवर्धनम् । मिथुने ज्ञानसम्पन्नः कर्के धनपतिर्भवेत् ॥ ६ ॥
In Meṣa, affliction of the blood; in Vṛṣabha, increase of grain; in Mithuna one becomes endowed with knowledge; in Karka one becomes a lord of wealth.

In the Sun's sign (Siṃha), trouble from enemies; in Kanyā, destruction of the wife; in Tulā, ministership to the king; in Vṛścika, death occurs; and in Dhanus there is gain of wealth — these in the navāṃśas of Meṣa.

Śloka 9 — Vṛṣabha-group navāṃśa daśā: Mīna, Vṛścika, Tulā, Kanyā
मीने सर्वार्थसिद्धिः स्याद् वृश्चिके त्वग्नितो भयम् । तौलिके राजपूज्यत्वं कन्यायां शत्रुवर्धनम् ॥ ९ ॥
In Mīna there is accomplishment of all objects; in Vṛścika, fear from fire; in Tulā, honour from the king; in Kanyā, increase of enemies.

Śloka 10 — Vṛṣabha-group navāṃśa daśā: Karka, Siṃha, Mithuna
शशिभे दारसंबाधा सिंहे च त्वक्षिजा रुजा । मिथुने वृत्तिबाधा स्याद् वृषभस्य नवांशके ॥ १० ॥
In the Moon's sign (Karka), affliction to the wife; in Siṃha, disease arising in the eyes; in Mithuna, obstruction to livelihood — these in the navāṃśas of Vṛṣabha.

Śloka 11 — Mithuna-group navāṃśa daśā: Vṛṣabha, Meṣa, Mīna, Kumbha
वृषभे त्वर्थलाभश्च मेषे तु ज्वरजा रुजा । झषे तु मातुलप्रीतिः कुम्भे शत्रुप्रवर्धनम् ॥ ११ ॥
In Vṛṣabha, gain of wealth; in Meṣa, illness born of fever; in Mīna, affection from the maternal uncle; in Kumbha, increase of enemies. (These are the first four of the nine navāṃśa-daśās of one born in the Mithuna group.)

In Makara, harassment by a thief; in Dhanus, increase of weapons; in Meṣa, a clash of weapons; in Vṛṣabha, quarrel is held to occur; in Mithuna one obtains happiness — these in the navāṃśas of Mithuna.

कन्यायां भ्रातृपूजा च तौलिके प्रियकृन्नरः । वृश्चिके पितृबाधा स्याच्चापेऽर्थज्ञानवर्धनम् ॥ १४ ॥
In Kanyā, honour shown to (or by) brothers; in Tulā, the man becomes one who does what is pleasing; in Vṛścika, affliction to the father; in Dhanus, increase of wealth and of knowledge.

Śloka 15 — Karka-group navāṃśa daśā: Makara, Kumbha, Mīna
मृगे भयं भवेदद्भ्यः समृद्धिः सस्यगा घटे । झषे सम्पत्-सुखं चापि कर्कटस्य नवांशके ॥ १५ ॥
In Makara there is fear from waters; in Kumbha, prosperity in crops; and in Mīna, wealth and happiness — these in the navāṃśas of Karka.

Śloka 16 — Siṃha-group navāṃśa daśā: Vṛścika, Tulā, Kanyā, Karka
वृश्चिके कलहः पीडा तौलिके ह्यधिकं फलम् । कन्यायामतिलाभश्च शशिभे मृगबाधिता ॥ १६ ॥
In Vṛścika, quarrel and affliction; in Tulā, abundant fruit; in Kanyā, very great gain; in the Moon's sign (Karka), harassment by wild animals.

In Siṃha, gain of a son; in Mithuna, increase of enemies; in Vṛṣabha, gain from quadrupeds; in Meṣa, fear from cattle; and in Mīna, a long journey — these in the navāṃśas of Siṃha.

धनुषि भ्रातृसंसर्गो मेषे मातृविवर्धनम् । वृषभे पुत्रवृद्धिः स्यान्मिथुने शत्रुवर्धनम् ॥ १९ ॥
In Dhanus, association with brothers; in Meṣa, the flourishing of the mother; in Vṛṣabha, increase of sons; in Mithuna, increase of enemies.

Śloka 20 — Kanyā-group navāṃśa daśā: Karka, Siṃha, Kanyā

In the Moon's sign (Karka), affection towards women; in Siṃha, aggravation of disease; in Kanyā, increase of sons — these in the navāṃśas of Kanyā.

तुलायामर्थलाभश्च वृश्चिके भ्रातृवर्धनम् । चापे तु तातसौख्यं च मृगे मातृविरोधिता ॥ २१ ॥
In Tulā, gain of wealth; in Vṛścika, the prospering of brothers; in Dhanus, happiness of the father; in Makara, opposition with the mother.

In Kumbha, gain through business; in Makara, fear of disease; in Dhanus, gain of wealth — these in the navāṃśas of Vṛścika.

In Mīna one obtains well-being; in Vṛścika, fear from poison; in Tulā, gain of wealth; in Kanyā, increase of enemies.

Śloka 35 — Mīna-group navāṃśa daśā: Makara, Kumbha, Mīna
मृगे जायाविरोधश्च कुम्भे जलविरोधिता । मीने तु सर्वसौभाग्यं मीनस्य नवमांशके ॥ ३५ ॥
In Makara, discord with the wife; in Kumbha, adversity from water; in Mīna, complete good fortune — these in the navāṃśas of Mīna.

Śloka 36 — Procedure: read results by the order of the daśā divisions; propitiation in malefic daśās
दशाभागक्रमेणैवं ज्ञात्वा सर्वफलं वदेत् । क्रूरग्रहदशाकाले शान्तिं कुर्याद् विचक्षणः ॥ ३६ ॥
Having thus ascertained (the periods) by the order of the daśā divisions, one should declare all the results. At the time of the daśā of a cruel graha the wise man should perform propitiatory rites.
