Śloka 1 — Śukra-antardaśā in Śukra-daśā — strong Venus
पराशर उवाच— शुक्रे शुक्रान्तरगते लग्नात् केन्द्रत्रिकोणगे । लाभे वा बलसंयुक्ते योगप्राबल्यमादिशेत् ॥ १ ॥
Parāśara said: When, within the daśā of Śukra, the antara of Śukra himself arrives, and he is placed in a kendra or trikoṇa from the lagna, or in the 11th, endowed with strength — one should declare the yoga to be powerful.

Śloka 2 — Śukra-antara results — wealth, cattle, son
विप्रमूलाद्धनस्याप्ति-गोमहिष्यादिकस्य च । पुत्रोत्सवादिसन्तोषो गृहे कल्याणसम्भवः ॥ २ ॥
There is acquisition of wealth through brāhmaṇas, and of cows, buffaloes and the like; satisfaction from festivities such as a son's birth-celebration; and welfare arises in the home.

Śloka 3 — Honour and kingdom; Venus in ucca / svakṣetra / exaltation-aṃśa
सम्मानं राजसम्मानं राज्य-लाभो महासुखम् । स्वोच्चे वा स्वर्क्षगे वापि तुङ्गांशे स्वांशगेऽपि वा ॥ ३ ॥
Honour, royal honour, gain of kingdom, great happiness. Or, if he be in his ucca, or in his own rāśi, or in the exaltation aṃśa, or in his own aṃśa —

Śloka 4 — New house, sweet food, family prosperity
नूतनालयनिर्माणं नित्यं मिष्टान्नभोजनम् । कलत्रपुत्रविभवो मित्रसंयुक्तभोजनम् ॥ ४ ॥
— construction of a new dwelling, daily eating of sweet food, prosperity of wife and sons, and dining in the company of friends.

Śloka 5 — Charity and royal favour
अन्नदानं प्रियं नित्यं दानधर्मादिसंग्रहः । महाराजप्रसादेन वाहनाम्बरभूषणम् ॥ ५ ॥
The giving of food is ever dear to him; there is accumulation of charity and religious merit; and through the favour of a great king, vehicles, garments and ornaments.

Śloka 6 — Business profit, cattle, westward journey
व्यवसायात् फलाधिक्यं संलाभः स्याच्चतुष्पदाम् । प्रयाणं पश्चिमे भागे लाभो वाहनवाससोः ॥ ६ ॥
Excess of profit from business, and gain of quadrupeds; a journey to the western quarter, and gain of vehicle and clothing.

Śloka 7 — Venus in upacaya with benefics / yogakāraka
लग्नाद्युपचये शुक्रे शुभखेटसमन्विते । मित्रांशे तुङ्गलाभेशयोगकारकसंयुते ॥ ७ ॥
When Śukra is in an upacaya from the lagna, joined with benefic grahas, or in a friend's aṃśa or in exaltation, joined with the lord of the 11th or with a yogakāraka —

Śloka 8 — Kingdom, royal affection, household increase
राज्यलाभो महोत्साहो राजप्रीतिः शुभावहा । गृहे कल्याणसम्पत्तिर्दारपुत्रादिवर्धनम् ॥ ८ ॥
— gain of kingdom, great enthusiasm, and the king's affection which brings auspiciousness; welfare and wealth in the home, and increase of wife, sons and the rest.

Śloka 9 — Venus in 6/8/12 with malefics
षष्ठाष्टमव्यये शुक्रे पापयुक्तेऽथ वीक्षिते । चौरादिव्रणभीतिश्च सर्वत्र जनपीडनम् ॥ ९ ॥
If Śukra is in the 6th, 8th or 12th, joined with or aspected by malefics — fear of thieves and of wounds, and everywhere affliction from people.

Śloka 10 — Hostility at court, loss of kin
राजद्वारे जनद्वेष-इष्टबन्धुविनाशनम् । दारपुत्रादिपीडा च सर्वत्र जनपीडनम् ॥ १० ॥
Hatred from people at the king's gate, and destruction of dear relatives; affliction of wife and sons, and everywhere affliction from people.

Śloka 11 — Venus as lord of 2nd or 7th — maraṇa; remedy
द्वितीयघूननाथे तु स्थिते चेन्मरणं भवेत् । दुर्गाजपं प्रकुर्वीत धेनुदानं च कारयेत् ॥ ११ ॥
But if he stands as lord of the 2nd or the 7th, death may occur. One should perform japa of Durgā and cause the gift of a milch-cow.

Śloka 12 — Sūrya-antardaśā — Sun in an inauspicious rāśi
शुक्रस्यान्तर्गते सूर्ये सन्तापो राजभिः कलिः । दायादात् कलहश्चैव शुभक्षेत्रान्यराशिगे ॥ १२ ॥
When, within Śukra's daśā, the antara of the Sun arrives and he occupies a rāśi other than an auspicious kṣetra — there is distress, strife with kings, and quarrel with co-heirs.

Śloka 13 — Sun well placed from lagna and from the daśā lord
स्वोच्चे स्वक्षेत्रगे सूर्ये मित्रर्क्षे केन्द्रकोणगे । दायेशात्केन्द्रकोणे वा लाभे वा धनगेऽपि वा ॥ १३ ॥
If the Sun is in his ucca, in his own kṣetra, in a friend's rāśi, in a kendra or koṇa; or from the daśā lord in a kendra or koṇa, or in the 11th, or in the 2nd —

Śloka 14 — Gains of wealth and kingdom
तद्भुक्तौ धनलाभः स्याद्राज्यस्त्रीधनसम्पदः । स्वप्रभोश्च महत्सौख्यमिष्टबन्धोः समागमः ॥ १४ ॥
— in that bhukti there is gain of wealth, and prosperity of kingdom, women and riches; great happiness from one's own master, and meeting with a beloved relative.

Śloka 15 — Happiness of parents, brother, fame, son
मातापित्रोः सुखावाप्तिर्भ्रातृलाभं सुखावहम् । सत्कीर्तिं सुखसौभाग्यं पुत्रलाभं च विन्दति ॥ १५ ॥
He obtains happiness for mother and father, gain through a brother that brings comfort, good fame, happiness and good fortune, and the gain of a son.

Śloka 16 — Sun in 8/12/6, debilitated or in a malefic varga
अष्टमे च व्यये सूर्ये षष्ठस्थानस्थितेऽपि वा । नीचे वा पापवर्गस्थे देहतापो मनोरुजा ॥ १६ ॥
If the Sun is in the 8th or the 12th, or placed in the 6th house, or in nīca, or in a malefic varga — there is burning of the body and sickness of the mind.

Śloka 17 — Strife with kin; affliction of father
स्वजनात् परिसंक्लेशो नित्यं मिष्टान्नभोजनम् । पितृपीडा बन्धुहानी राजद्वारे विरोधनम् ॥ १७ ॥
Great distress from one's own people; daily eating of sweet food; affliction of the father, loss of relatives, and opposition at the king's gate.

Śloka 18 — Wounds, snakes, disease, loss of property
व्रणपीडाहिबाधा च स्वगेहे तु भयं तथा । नानारोगभयं चैव गृहक्षेत्रादिनाशनम् ॥ १८ ॥
Affliction from wounds and harm from snakes, and likewise fear even in one's own house; fear of manifold diseases, and destruction of house, field and the like.

Śloka 19 — Sun as lord of the 7th — graha-affliction; remedy
सप्तमाधिपतौ तत्र ग्रहबाधा भविष्यति । तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं सूर्यप्रीतिं च कारयेत् ॥ १९ ॥
If he there be lord of the 7th, there will be affliction from the graha. To avert that doṣa, one should have propitiation of the Sun performed.

Śloka 20 — Candra-antardaśā — Moon well placed with the 9th lord
शुक्रस्यान्तर्गते चन्द्रे केन्द्रलाभत्रिकोणगे । स्वोच्चे स्वक्षेत्रगे चैव भाग्येशेन च संयुते ॥ २० ॥
When, within Śukra's daśā, the antara of the Moon arrives, and he is in a kendra, the 11th, or a trikoṇa, in his ucca or his own kṣetra, and joined with the lord of the 9th —

Śloka 21 — Full Moon with benefics and the 10th lord
शुभयुक्ते पूर्णचन्द्रे राज्यनाथेन संयुते । तद्भुक्तौ वाहनसुखं गृहे लाभः शुभावहः ॥ २१ ॥
— the Moon being full, joined with benefics and with the lord of the 10th: in that bhukti there is the comfort of vehicles, and gain in the home that brings auspiciousness.

Śloka 22 — Royal favour, elephant-wealth, holy bathing
महाराजप्रसादेन गजान्तैश्वर्यमादिशेत् । महानदीस्नानपुण्यं देवब्राह्मणपूजनम् ॥ २२ ॥
Through the favour of a great king one should declare wealth culminating in elephants; the merit of bathing in a great river, and the worship of gods and brāhmaṇas.

Śloka 23 — Music, learned company, cattle, business
गीतवाद्यप्रसङ्गादि-विद्वज्जनविभूषणम् । गोमहिष्यादिवृद्धिश्च व्यवसायेऽधिकं फलम् ॥ २३ ॥
Occasions of song and instrumental music and the like; being adorned (honoured) by learned people; increase of cows, buffaloes and the like, and greater profit in business.

Śloka 24 — Food and clothing; then Moon debilitated / combust / in dusthānas
भोजनाम्बरसौख्यं च बन्धुसंयुक्तभोजनम् । नीचे वाऽस्तंगते वापि षष्ठाष्टव्ययराशिगे ॥ २४ ॥
— comfort of food and clothing, and dining together with relatives. But if the Moon be in nīca, or combust, or in the 6th, 8th or 12th rāśi —

Śloka 25 — Moon in dusthāna from the daśā lord — loss and fear
दायेशात् षष्ठगे वापि रन्ध्रे वा व्ययराशिगे । तत्काले धननाशः स्यादपि कष्टं महद् भयम् ॥ २५ ॥
— or from the daśā lord in the 6th, or in the 8th, or in the 12th rāśi: at that time there will be loss of wealth, and also hardship and great fear.

Śloka 26 — Fatigue, royal opposition, foreign travel
देहायासो मनस्तापो राजद्वारे विरोधनम् । विदेशगमनं चैव तीर्थयात्रादिकं फलम् ॥ २६ ॥
Bodily fatigue, mental distress, opposition at the king's gate; and travel to a foreign land, and pilgrimage and the like, are the fruits.

Śloka 27 — Affliction of family; then Moon in kendra/11th/koṇa/3rd from daśā lord
दारपुत्रादिपीडा च निजबन्धुवियोजनम् । दायेशात् केन्द्रलाभस्थे त्रिकोणे विक्रमेऽपि वा ॥ २७ ॥
— affliction of wife, sons and the rest, and separation from one's own relatives. If from the daśā lord he is in a kendra or the 11th, in a trikoṇa, or in the 3rd —

Śloka 28 — Village/district lordship, fame, vehicles
राजप्रीत्या भवेत् सद्यो देशग्रामाधिपत्यकम् । धैर्यं चैव सुखं कीर्तिर्वाहनाम्बरभूषणम् ॥ २८ ॥
— by the king's affection there is at once lordship over a district or a village; steadiness, happiness, fame, vehicles, garments and ornaments.

Śloka 29 — Public works, wealth; distress at the end
कूपारामतडागादि-निर्माणं धनसंग्रहः । भुक्त्यादौ देहसौख्यं स्यादन्ते क्लेशो महान् भवेत् ॥ २९ ॥
Construction of wells, gardens, tanks and the like, and accumulation of wealth; at the beginning of the bhukti there is bodily comfort, but at its end great distress will come.

Śloka 30 — Kuja-antardaśā — Mars strong in kendra/koṇa/ucca/11th
शुक्रस्यान्तर्गते भौमे लग्नात् केन्द्रत्रिकोणगे । स्वोच्चे वा स्वक्षगे भौमे लाभे वा बलसंयुते ॥ ३० ॥
When, within Śukra's daśā, the antara of Bhauma arrives, and he is in a kendra or trikoṇa from the lagna, or in his ucca, or in his own rāśi, or in the 11th, endowed with strength —

Śloka 31 — Mars with lagna/10th/9th lords — rājayoga wealth
लग्नाधिपेन संयुक्ते कर्मभाग्येशसंयुते । तद्भुक्तौ राजयोगादि-सम्पदः शोभना मताः ॥ ३१ ॥
— joined with the lord of the lagna, or joined with the lords of the 10th and the 9th: in that bhukti the wealth arising from rājayoga and the like is held to be excellent.

Śloka 32 — Fulfilment of desires; then Mars in 8th/12th
वस्त्राभरणभूम्यादेरिष्टसिद्धिः सुखावहा । तथाऽष्टमे व्यये वापि दायेशाद्वा तथैव च ॥ ३२ ॥
— fulfilment of desires regarding clothes, ornaments, land and so forth, bringing happiness. Likewise, if he be in the 8th or the 12th, or in the same houses from the daśā lord —

Śloka 33 — Fever, danger to parents, loss of position
शीतज्वरादिपीडा च पितृमातृभयावहा । ज्वराद्यधिकरोगाश्च स्थानभ्रंशो मनोरुजा ॥ ३३ ॥
— affliction from chills, fever and the like, bringing danger to father and mother; excessive fevers and other diseases, loss of position, and sickness of mind.

Śloka 34 — Loss of kin, quarrel with kings, expenditure
स्वबन्धुजनहानिश्च कलहो राजभिः सह । राजद्वारजनैर्द्वेषो धनधान्यव्ययोऽधिकः ॥ ३४ ॥
Loss of one's own kinsfolk, quarrel with kings, hatred from the people of the royal court, and excessive expenditure of wealth and grain.

Śloka 35 — Business loss; Mars as lord of 2nd/7th; remedy
व्यवसायात् फलं नेष्टं हानिर्भूम्यादिकस्य च । द्वितीयघूननाथे तु देहबाधा भविष्यति ॥ ३५ ॥ तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं शान्तिं कुर्याद्यथाविधि ।
Unfavourable results from business, and loss of land and the like. But if he be lord of the 2nd or the 7th, there will be bodily affliction. — To avert that doṣa, one should perform śānti according to prescribed rule.

Śloka 36 — Rāhu-antardaśā — Rāhu well placed with a yogakāraka
शुक्रस्यान्तर्गते राहौ केन्द्रलाभत्रिकोणगे । स्वोच्चे वा शुभसंदृष्टे योगकारकसंयुते ॥ ३६ ॥
When, within Śukra's daśā, the antara of Rāhu arrives, and he is in a kendra, the 11th, or a trikoṇa, or in his ucca, aspected by benefics and joined with a yogakāraka —

Śloka 37 — Happiness, wealth, feasting with kin
तद्भुक्तौ बहुसौख्यं च संलाभो धनधान्ययोः । इष्टबन्धुसमाकीर्णं भोजनं भवने भवेत् ॥ ३७ ॥
— in that bhukti there is much happiness and gain of wealth and grain; there will be feasting in the house thronged with beloved relatives.

Śloka 38 — Traveller's success; Rāhu in upacaya
यातुः कार्यार्थसिद्धिः स्यात् पशुक्षेत्रादिसम्भवः । लग्नाद्युपचये राहौ तद्भुक्तिः सुखदा भवेत् ॥ ३८ ॥
For one who travels there is accomplishment of his object; there arises acquisition of cattle, fields and the like. When Rāhu is in an upacaya from the lagna, that bhukti will be a giver of happiness.

Śloka 39 — Enemies destroyed; five months good, then illness
शत्रुनाशो महोत्साहो राजप्रीतिः शुभावहा । भुक्त्यादौ शरमासांश्चाप्यन्तेऽजीर्णं तथा ज्वरः ॥ ३९ ॥
Destruction of enemies, great enthusiasm, and the king's affection bringing auspiciousness — for five months at the beginning of the bhukti; and at its end, indigestion and fever.

Śloka 40 — Obstacles yet royal-grade fortune
कार्ये विघ्नमवाप्नोति सञ्चारे च मनोव्यथा । परं सुखं च सौभाग्यं नृपतुल्यं प्रजायते ॥ ४० ॥
He meets with obstacles in his undertakings, and mental pain while travelling; yet supreme happiness and good fortune, equal to a king's, arise.

Śloka 41 — South-west journey, meeting a lord, return home
नैर्ऋतिं दिशमाश्रित्य प्रयाणं प्रभुदर्शनम् । यातुः कार्यार्थसिद्धिः स्यात् स्वदेशे पुनरेष्यति ॥ ४१ ॥
A journey taken towards the south-west quarter, and the sight of a lord; the traveller's object is accomplished, and he will return again to his own country.

Śloka 42 — Benefit to brāhmaṇas; then Rāhu in 8th/12th with malefics
उपकारो ब्राह्मणानां तीर्थयात्राफलं भवेत् । दायेशाद्रन्ध्रराशिस्थे व्यये वा पापसंयुते ॥ ४२ ॥
Benefit rendered to brāhmaṇas, and the fruit of pilgrimage. If from the daśā lord he stands in the 8th rāśi, or in the 12th, joined with malefics —

Śloka 43 — Inauspicious deeds, universal hostility
अशुभं लभते कर्म पितृमातृजनावधि । सर्वत्र जनविद्वेषो नानारूपेण जायते ॥ ४३ ॥
— he meets with inauspicious dealings, extending as far as his father and mother; and hostility from people arises everywhere, in manifold forms.

Śloka 44 — Rāhu in 2nd/7th — bodily sloth; remedy
द्वितीये सप्तमे वापि देहालस्यं विनिर्दिशेत् । तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं मृत्युञ्जयजपं चरेत् ॥ ४४ ॥
If he is in the 2nd or the 7th, one should declare bodily sloth. To avert that doṣa, one should perform Mṛtyuñjaya japa.

Śloka 45 — Guru-antardaśā — Jupiter well placed
शुक्रस्यान्तर्गते जीवे स्वोच्चे स्वक्षेत्रकेन्द्रगे । दायेशाच्छुभराशिस्थे भाग्ये वा पञ्चमेऽथवा ॥ ४५ ॥
When, within Śukra's daśā, the antara of Jīva (Jupiter) arrives, and he is in his ucca, his own kṣetra, or a kendra; or in an auspicious rāśi, in the 9th from the daśā lord, or else in the 5th —

Śloka 46 — Recovery of lost kingdom, honour, wealth
नष्टराज्याद्धनप्राप्तिरिष्टार्थाम्बरसम्पदः । मित्रप्रभोश्च सम्मानं धनधान्यं तथैव च ॥ ४६ ॥
— acquisition of wealth from a kingdom that had been lost; desired objects, garments and prosperity; honour from friend and from master, and likewise wealth and grain.

Śloka 47 — Fame, conveyances, learned company, study
राजसम्मानकीर्ती चाप्यश्वान्दोलादिजं सुखम् । विद्वत्प्रभुसमायातं शास्त्रपाठपरिश्रमम् ॥ ४७ ॥
Royal honour and fame, and the pleasure arising from horses, palanquins and the like; the coming of learned men and of lords, and diligent effort in the study of the śāstras.

Śloka 48 — Son's festivity, family happiness
पुत्रोत्सवादि-सन्तोषमिष्टबन्धु-समागमम् । पितृमातृसुतभ्रातृ-प्रभृतेः सुखमाप्नुयात् ॥ ४८ ॥
Satisfaction from festivities such as a son's celebration, and meeting with beloved relatives; he obtains happiness from father, mother, sons, brothers and the rest.

Śloka 49 — Jupiter in 6th/12th with malefics
दायेशात् षष्ठराशिस्थे व्यये वा पापसंयुते । राजचौरादिपीडा च देहपीडा तथैव च ॥ ४९ ॥
If from the daśā lord he stands in the 6th rāśi, or in the 12th joined with malefics — affliction from kings, thieves and the like, and likewise bodily affliction.

Śloka 50 — Illness, quarrels, displacement
आत्मरुग्बन्धुकष्टं च कलहेन मनोव्यथा । स्थानच्युतिः प्रवासश्च नानारोगा भवन्ति हि ॥ ५० ॥
Illness of oneself and distress of relatives, and mental pain through quarrels; fall from position, exile, and indeed manifold diseases.

Śloka 51 — Jupiter as lord of 2nd/7th; remedy
द्वितीयसप्तमाधीशे देहबाधा भविष्यति । तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं मृत्युञ्जयजपं चरेत् ॥ ५१ ॥

When, within Śukra's daśā, the antara of Manda (Saturn) arrives, and he is in his ucca or in his deepest exaltation, or in his own rāśi, a kendra or a trikoṇa, or in the exaltation aṃśa or his own aṃśa —

Śloka 53 — Happiness, honour at court, birth of a daughter
तद्भुक्तौ बहुसौख्यं स्यादिष्टबन्धुसमन्वयः । सम्मानं राजभवने पुत्रिकाजननं शुभम् ॥ ५३ ॥
— in that bhukti there will be much happiness, union with beloved relatives, honour in the royal palace, and the auspicious birth of a daughter.

Śloka 54 — Merit, promotion; Saturn debilitated
पुण्यतीर्थफलावाप्तिः पुण्यं स्याद्दानधर्मयोः । पदोन्नतिः प्रभुवरात् नीचगे क्लेशमादिशेत् ॥ ५४ ॥
Obtaining of the fruit of holy tīrthas, and merit through charity and dharma; promotion of rank from an excellent master. But if he be in nīca, one should declare distress.

Śloka 55 — Sloth and overspending; Saturn in 8th/12th
देहालस्यमवाप्नोति चायादप्यधिकं व्ययम् । अष्टगे वाव्यये मन्दे दायाधीशात् तथैव च ॥ ५५ ॥
He suffers bodily sloth, and expenditure exceeding his income. If Manda be in the 8th or the 12th, or likewise so reckoned from the daśā lord —

Śloka 56 — Bodily affliction, harm to parents, wandering
भुक्त्यादौ देहपीडा स्यात् पितृमातृजनावधि । दारपुत्रादिपीडा च भ्रमणं बहुशो भवेत् ॥ ५६ ॥
— at the beginning of the bhukti there will be bodily affliction, extending as far as father and mother; affliction of wife and sons, and much wandering.

Śloka 57 — Business failure, cattle loss; lord of 2nd/7th; remedy
व्यवसायात् फलं नेष्टं गोमहिष्यादिनाशनम् । द्वितीयसप्तमाधीशे देहबाधा भविष्यति ॥ ५७ ॥ तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं तिलहोमादिकं चरेत् ।
Unfavourable results from business, and destruction of cows, buffaloes and the like. If he be lord of the 2nd or the 7th, there will be bodily affliction. — To avert that doṣa, one should perform tila-homa and similar rites.

Śloka 58 — Budha-antardaśā — Mercury well placed
शुक्रस्यान्तर्गते सौम्ये केन्द्रे लाभत्रिकोणगे । स्वोच्चे वा स्वर्क्षगे वापि राजप्रीतिः शुभावहा ॥ ५८ ॥
When, within Śukra's daśā, the antara of Saumya (Mercury) arrives, and he is in a kendra, the 11th, or a trikoṇa, or in his ucca or his own rāśi — the king's affection, bringing auspiciousness.

Śloka 59 — Fortune, son, wealth, scripture and pleasant company
सौभाग्यं पुत्रलाभश्च धनलाभः सदध्वना । पुराणधर्मश्रवणं शृङ्गारिजनसंगमः ॥ ५९ ॥
Good fortune, gain of a son, and gain of wealth by righteous means; hearing of the Purāṇas and of dharma, and association with people of refined amorous taste.

Śloka 60 — King's visit, master's favour, sweet food
इष्टबन्धुजनाकीर्णे गेहे नृपसमागमः । स्वप्रभोश्च महत्सौख्यं नित्यं मिष्टान्नभोजनम् ॥ ६० ॥
In a house thronged with beloved relatives, the arrival of a king; great happiness from one's own master, and daily eating of sweet food.

Śloka 61 — Mercury weak in 6/8/12 with malefics
दायेशात् षष्ठरन्ध्रे वा व्यये वा बलवर्जिते । पापैर्दृष्टेऽथवा युक्ते चतुष्पाज्जीवनाशनम् ॥ ६१ ॥
If from the daśā lord he is in the 6th or the 8th, or in the 12th, devoid of strength, and aspected by or joined with malefics — there is destruction of the lives of the quadrupeds.

Śloka 62 — Living in another's house, derangement, financial loss
अन्यालयनिवासश्च मनोवैकल्यसम्भवः । व्यवहारे तु सर्वत्र धननाशो भवेद् ध्रुवम् ॥ ६२ ॥
Dwelling in another's house, and the arising of mental derangement; and in all dealings there will assuredly be loss of wealth.

Śloka 63 — Phased results of the bhukti — address to Maitreya
भुक्त्यादौ शोभनं प्रोक्तं मध्ये तु मध्यमं सुखम् । अन्ते क्लेशस्तथा विप्र ! शीतवातज्वरादिकम् ॥ ६३ ॥
At the beginning of the bhukti good is declared, in the middle middling comfort; and at the end distress, O Vipra (Maitreya!) — chills, wind-disorders, fever and the like.

Śloka 64 — Mercury as lord of the 7th; remedy
सप्तमाधीशदोषेण देहपीडा भविष्यति । तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं विष्णुसाहस्रकं जपेत् ॥ ६४ ॥
Through the doṣa of his being lord of the 7th, there will be bodily affliction. To avert that doṣa, one should recite the Viṣṇu-sahasranāma.

Śloka 65 — Ketu-antardaśā — Ketu strong with a yogakāraka
शुक्रस्यान्तर्गते केतौ स्वोच्चे वा स्वर्क्षगेऽपि वा । योगकारकसम्बन्धे स्थानवीर्यसमन्विते ॥ ६५ ॥
When, within Śukra's daśā, the antara of Ketu arrives, and he is in his ucca or in his own rāśi, in relation with a yogakāraka, and endowed with sthāna-bala (positional strength) —

Śloka 66 — Sweet food, business profit, cattle
भुक्त्यादौ तु शुभं प्रोक्तं नित्यं मिष्टान्नभोजनम् । व्यवसायात् फलाधिक्यं गोमहिष्यादिवर्धनम् ॥ ६६ ॥
— at the beginning of the bhukti good is declared: daily eating of sweet food, excess of profit from business, and increase of cows, buffaloes and the like.

Śloka 67 — Wealth and victory in battle; phased results
धनधान्यसमृद्धिश्च संग्रामे विजयो भवेत् । भुक्त्यन्ते हि सुखं चैव मध्ये मध्यफलं स्मृतम् ॥ ६७ ॥
Abundance of wealth and grain, and there will be victory in battle. At the end of the bhukti indeed there is happiness, and in the middle middling results are held to occur.

Śloka 68 — Intermittent hardship; then Ketu in 8th/12th with malefics
मध्ये मध्ये महत्कष्टं पश्चादारोग्यमादिशेत् । दायेशाद्रन्ध्रगृहगे व्यये वा पापसंयुते ॥ ६८ ॥
Now and again great hardship, and thereafter one should declare recovery of health. If from the daśā lord he occupies the 8th house, or the 12th, joined with malefics —

Śloka 69 — Thieves, snakes, loss of judgment, causeless quarrel
चौराहिव्रणपीडा च बुद्धिनाशो महाभयम् । शिरोरुजा मनस्तापः कलहः कारणं विना ॥ ६९ ॥
— affliction from thieves, snakes and wounds, loss of discernment, great fear, headache, mental anguish, and quarrel without cause.

Śloka 70 — Urinary disease, expenditure, family discord
प्रमेहादिकरोगश्च नानामार्गे धनव्ययः । भार्यापुत्रविरोधश्च गमनं कार्यनाशनम् ॥ ७० ॥
Diseases such as prameha (urinary disorders), and expenditure of wealth in various directions; discord with wife and sons, journeying, and ruin of undertakings.

Śloka 71 — Ketu as lord of 2nd/7th; remedy — goat-gift and Mṛtyuñjaya
द्वितीयघूननाथे तु देहबाधा भविष्यति । तन्निवृत्त्यर्थं छागदान-मृत्युञ्जयजपं चरेत् ॥ ७१ ॥
But if he be lord of the 2nd or the 7th, there will be bodily affliction. For its removal one should perform the gift of a goat and Mṛtyuñjaya japa.
