Śloka 1 — Computation of the sūkṣma-daśā (fourth-level sub-period) from the pratyantar-daśā

प्रत्यन्तरदशाघट्यो हताः स्वस्वदशाब्दतः । विंशोत्तरशतेनाप्ता लब्धिः सूक्ष्मदशामितिः ॥ १ ॥

The ghaṭīs of a pratyantara-daśā, multiplied by the daśā-years proper to each graha and divided by one hundred and twenty, yield as quotient the measure of the sūkṣma-daśā.
